Not Even A Bad Omen

A great thank you to my readers. It really takes a lot to convince people that they need to read your stuff on any blog, but my great family, you motivate me to keep writing.
So today I reviewed the life of one great man that when business is mentioned in Kenya, His name appears first. He has been in the Forbes Magazine for as long as he has lived. We celebrate this great icon. Chris Kirubi grew up as an orphan being raised by well wishers. Everyone who sees his "serious-smile" on the coverpages can tell that there is an untold story that he maybe never tells. So after form four,, DJ CK, as he is popularly known to the music lovers, went ahead to do odd jobs here and there. He had to earn something for his younger siblings. And his story goes on and on.
My main interest is his growing up. Anyone who has lived long enough to see any orphan knows the problems that come with such upbringings. Lacking food, lacking clothing.... Yeah! All that our great guy underwent. But today he sits on such a big empire. And sure as death, Not even a bad omen can stand the passion of someone that is in pursuit for success. Even death stands aside to give room for such a person to succeed.

LIKE NEVER BEFORE - LAX ENTERTAINMENT

A while ago, Codeset did an article one great guy that is really shaking the wave in the music industry. This man Ben Ceezy is one phenomenal artist in in the industry who is doing music in his own way. Based in Nairobi, Ben C has released a brand new song that will just leave you craving for more. MZIKI TRUE, the song reased today, 26th June, 2015, is shot in such a great way by CMG. It was really a long journey throughout and sure as it is, the hit has attracted such a great view on YouTube. Let me stop the long story thing, check out
Mziki True, by BEN-C, CEO at Lax Entertainment
. He explains the great gospel that is worth the industry, how one is so lucky one is to be behind any particular task. And that is what I really want to talk about today.

Each one of us is created with such previledges that there can hardly ever be anyone better than you in that particular field. You are given a gift in you, don't take it for granted. You are gifted in your own particular way. No one can do music like you do, no one can code like you do, no one can do a clothing line like you do, no one is like you. So dont take your gift for granted. Don't assume what is given to you by walking away as if you had forever to live. Utilise today. Your vitality today. No one can ever do what you do. You are highly gifted and talented than you can ever imagine.

At the eve of this weekend, I present to you one more gift in addition to the Mziki True Video, check out one upcoming and talented artist from Kenya, Byansii. Check out

Nambie by Byansii

Sometimes We Need To Fall To Rise Again

Willy Paul
If what went through every media house, and through everyone who cares to follow up the music industry music is something to go by, this 22 yea-old had a fair share of the deal. Willy Paul, one of the youngsters in Kenya who have taken the Gospel Music industry, was met by the angry face of the fans that were once his fans, all frying him in as many medias as they could. From Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blogs, Radio even TV, Willy was tossed like a rugby ball, or is it hot coals, each one generously delivering their uncalled-for blows. This served the "nortorious"(as Ghafla commonly refers to him) artist, with a surprise that he probably never anticipated, thanks to the recently concluded Groove Awards, where he walked empty handed despite having been nominated in several categories. His care-free habit maybe had at last reaped him a sad award. But my focus is not on how he lost or how many critics came his way, or how many failures he made that far. But rather, what he did to prove to his enstranged fans, some of whom have/had shifted camp to other artists. He fulfilled one thing he had promised his fans, SOUL-SEARCHING. I'm ain't a die hard fan of his, but for reals, this time am out congratulating him, he went into studio and released what I would call a masterpiece. No! A Great COMEBACK! With his new hit, Hukuniacha, by Willy Paul.

Sometimes success comes our way, and we are too full of ourselves that we forget how we got up there. We forget the people who helped us climb the ladder and when we come tumbling down, there is no one to hold us. Or maybe, sometimes we give everything our best, we do what we think is the right thing for the industry we are involved with, yet when we are right there on top, we come falling down, everything just doesn't work or go our way. We are left asking ourselves like we mostly ask each other, "What are you gonna do now." And it is at that very moment we need to sit ourselves down and ask ourselves why this happened, why this caught us unaware. It is a time when we ought to do soul-searching. When we opt to take the painful cane of owning to our responsibilities, our actions and strike ourselves with the painful truth that probably those close to us fear to tell us. It isn't a pleasant experience but we gotta go through it and realise that pain we feel will later take us to our place. Endure the pain of tellin yourself the bad that you did and take responsibility of your actions. Change your every habit that has brought you here. Why is this really important? It will change your reaction from living an illusion to living a reality. From walking life bored and tired to rekindle the fire of achievement, the zeal and passion for whatever you do. Remember, no one can do it for you, and you can't lie to yourself. If things aren't working, face it, don't try to run away from it by engaging in drugs, no, it ain't going to help. If you face it rough as it might be and choose to be the one incharge of your life, it will surely pay off. And you will realise that there is great value in failure. One author once said, there is great value in failure, all our mistakes are burned up, thank God we can start all over again. That's why, we sometimes need that failure to rebuild our empire up and stronger.
